Sea of Krishnas

The other day I was looking through a deck of cards with different Hindu Gods and Goddesses. I noticed an upside down image of a goddess with blue skin and immediately remembered a dream I'd had a few days earlier. I was astonished. I'd completely forgotten about this dream and it was such a rich one!
In the dream I am walking through what I call in waking life a "Sea of Krishnas." There were several blue Krishna-men standing around me, weaving in and out of one another. I walked through them, a bit confused.
That's it. That's the dream.
When I first typed the description, I wrote "see" instead of "sea" and "I am waking through..." instead of "I am walking through..." Although these typos may seem negligible, they say a lot about my dream meaning. Perhaps I am finally seeing how I am waking to my Krishna-self.
There are several schools of thought about what the repeated blue color of Hindu gods and goddesses symbolizes. One idea is that since blue is the most abundant color in our world - the sky and most bodies of water appear blue - it is considered to be a sacred color representing the divine.
This blue color has been a repeating theme throughout my life. The first dream was the "Centaur, Jesters and Sparkly Blue, Oh My from 1991." The most recent being "Sea of Krishnas", but within the past few months I've had a series of dreams with blue and black as primary elements. All with Condors and Eagles and Angels and Ravens.
The colors are obviously trying to get my attention, but up until a few weeks ago, I couldn't figure out what they were trying to tell me. One night when I was driving home during the twilight evening hours, I had an epiphany. The night sky was beautiful, with the silhouette of black trees against a wall of cornflower blue sky, the same colors from my dreams. Twilight - the time between waking and sleeping. Of course! Twilight - the time when dreaming occurs. As a dreamworker, this is highly significant for me. It was a relief to have this revelation and I felt without a doubt that I'd stumbled upon a hidden layer of my dreams simply by paying attention to my surroundings.
Hint for the day: Pay attention to your surroundings. You never know where and when a dream meaning will reveal itself to you.
