DREAM Trip to the Gas Station Results in a Fountain of Gas

running low on gas
try to fill it up, won't work
now I'm filled with gas

splattered, greasy mess
sticky brown goo, fossil fuel
try this one more time

DREAM Tiger Sized Leopard is Loose in the Store

What do you do when a tiger sized leopard is loose in the store? In this dream I anxiously tried to get out of the way. I noticed some other people were closer to the leopard and in all likelihood they'd be attacked first if anyone was going to be attacked. I was curious, though, as to why this woman had a pet leopard. And also why she'd let him loose.

Haiku

dreams of love, old friend
too many days I forgot
to live this feeling

Dreamed of a friend today. There were feelings of love involved, but the dream is mostly a foggy memory, so this haiku is all I can muster.

DREAM Looking through a tray of clay hearts

In the dream I'm with my mom. We're in the desert and we come upon a Victorian home with a gift shop inside. I look through a tray of ceramic hearts and pick out one that has a crown on top.

The heart in the photo was made (by me) nearly 10 years ago. It's made of fimo or sculpy and an assortment of beads. The clay heart in the dream is similar, but a little bigger, and it's ceramic, not sculpy.

waking DREAM: Firey Moon for a Firey Weekend

I can't believe I got this shot! I took it Friday night when we were at Mojave National Preserve.

I was drinking wine and eating my dinner when Scott pointed and said, "Wow!" I looked up and thought the hills were on fire again! The moon was truly spectacular, rising a brilliant orange over the desert hills and sagebrush. The moon is probably my favorite thing in existence. (If you click on this the image will be the same size, but it won't be so pixelated.)

waking DREAM: Sometimes it's best to hide

This little guy posed for me. Well, actually, I think he was trying to hide. He did a pretty good job of it, too. He's nearly the exact color of the rock and dust.
